A native of Norman, Oklahoma, Dr. Schumaker received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he also completed his residency. He completed a fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Schumaker’s work has been featured in multiple publications.
